Fairyhouse racecourse is situated 12 miles north west of Dublin, just off the N2 or the N3. The racecourse is within half an hour's drive from Dublin Airport and City Centre.
Fairyhouse is considered the home of the National Hunt in Ireland and stages Ireland's premier National Hunt race, the Powers Gold Label Irish Grand National, which is run every year on Easter Monday. The very first meeting held at Fairyhouse was in 1848 when the ward union hunt held their point-to-point at this venue and Fairyhouse to this day stages big point to point meetings in the winter months.
Fairyhouse is very much one of Ireland's finest and fairest racecourses and continues to attract the leading horses both on the flat and over jumps.
